Entrepalooza 💼

What is this field trip?

Entrepalooza, sponsored by the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship at USF and the Gus A. Stavros Center, offers students the opportunity for another Virtual Enterprises Trade Show much closer to home here in Hillsborough County.

How much does it cost for my child to attend this event? 💲

There will be no cost for students to attend this trip 🙂

Where is the event? 📍

The University of South Florida
Marshal Student Center
4103 USF Cedar Cir, Tampa, FL 33620

Who can go to this event? 🙋🏻

I can take 7 students on this trip (4 from Clever Clothes and 3 from Fun Bottles). The first 4 people from Clever Clothes and the first 3 people from Fun Bottles to turn in their COMPLETED forms will be the students that get to go on this trip.

I can take more students if parents are willing to chaperone and drive. Please see the additional information in the transportation and chaperone section further down this website for more details.

When is the event? 🕰️

Thursday March 26, 2026, from 7:15am – 3:00pm

Students attending this trip must have transportation to get dropped off at school by 7:15am.

We will be back before school ends, so students will go home from school as if it were a normal day.

How does transportation work? 🚎

We’ll be driving there and back in Mr. Waraksa’s Toyota Sienna Minivan (it is on the approved vehicle list for Hillsborough County Schools).

If any other parents with vehicles on the approved list volunteer to drive, some students may drive with them in their vehicles. This would be greatly appreciated because then I can take more students than just the 7 that can fit in my van.

Is it possible to be a chaperone on this trip? 👓

Yes! Since we are not taking a bus, you would have to drive yourself though. If you drive yourself and also want to drive your child, your vehicle must be on the district approved list of vehicles for school-related activities. Click here to see the list of approved vehicles. If your vehicle is not on the approved vehicle list, you can still go, you would just have to drop your child off at Barrington first and then you could drive yourself and meet us at USF. I know it’s frustrating, but I have no control over these district policies.

In order to be a chaperone, you must also be a LEVEL 1 approved volunteer with the school district. Here’s information about becoming a district approved volunteer:

If you are interested in chaperoning for this trip please call or text me as soon as possible so I can make accommodations for you 🙂

How will food work during this trip? 🍔

  • Please make sure your child has a refillable water bottle.
  • Pack 2 snacks.
  • You can either pack a lunch, or your child can eat at the USF Marshall Student Center Food Court (cash or credit accepted).
  • Dining options include Moe’s Southwest Grill, Panda Express, Papa John’s, and Subway.

My child said it was ok for them to bring an electronic device on this trip, is that true? 🕹️

Yes, it is. We will be in the van for about 45 min each way, so students are encouraged to bring something to help occupy their time.

Acceptable electronic devices include:

  • Phones
  • Tablets
  • Handheld gaming consoles (e.g., Nintendo Switch)

Headphones are required for any student wanting to listen to sound while they watch/play.

  • Students may not play sound through their device’s speakers.
  • If they do not bring headphones, their device must remain on silent or muted.

Students are also encouraged to bring a portable charger and charging cable to ensure their device stays powered during the trip.
